About

The concept of a home, aside from its basic description of a form of shelter, has evolved into an inherently important notion which functions as an environment with a multitude of sentiments. Our personal experiences of this environment foster our identity and psychology. This idea has resonated within my mentality as a result of the impermanent and transient nature of my own familiarity of home. My work investigates the significance of “home” and questions my own relationship to this affinity.

Anastasia Wyman is a visual artist living and creating in Chicago, IL. She has a B.A. from Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC. Her work is executed primarily through sculpture, installation, and performance-based video art, though she often works with other forms of mixed-media.
